Thank you for your interest in my work, or Sickle Cell Disease in general. I've dedicated years to researching how to fight this debilitating disease. My goal is not to make money — in fact, it's the opposite. My goal in publishing this work is to make it widely accessible to anyone and to ultimately enable clinical trials in the U.S. through an FDA Orphan Drug Designation I recieved in 1992.
